15 New Humanity Values Reshaping the Workplace
Where it started
A New Era emerged in 2020 that has forever changed the way we do business. The pandemic is forcing us to rethink everything we do and how we do it. It's not business as usual anymore! Leaders need to change their culture if they want to continue growing and thriving by crafting a healthier system to support the new humanity values.
We've been so focused on consuming (materialism) that we lost the space for interpersonal growth needed to help us evolve. We can't go back to this old model, it isn't sustainable and it no longer fits. We have to grow out of this and start creating a better world for all of us.
This is very exciting but here's an important truth for us to consider about the changes required . . .
The new humanity values don't align with the legacy Hierarchy System for managing employee behaviors. Why? Because this 165-year old antiquated system doesn't bring out the best in others.
This old system relies on fear, command, and control - it robs people of their true potential. No one performs at their best when living in constant fear. This system is outdated, it doesn't fit.
New humanity values don't align with organizations that are filled with process bottlenecks, disconnected cultures, outdated technologies, hierarchy system of domination and control, limited diversity and equality, and output measured by time in the seat.
Values have changed and organizations need to get up to speed with these changes if they plan on existing successfully in the New Era.
These changes are unprecedented which is why it's urgent organizations start preparing now with advanced strategies, systems, and training to create something that better serves humanity and our planet.
Where we are headed
We are in uncharted territory and we need to think differently. Technology is going to play a much bigger role in how we interact and share ideas - traditional command and control centers hinder our ability to work smart and stay healthy. Technology opens the door for more productive alternatives and we need a creative workforce to find the way.
We need to realize that good nutrition, reducing stress, staying fit, and getting enough sleep are easy and low-cost ways to improve human performance. We need to build long-term value in health to generate and maintain a growing economy while reducing costs.
We need to be more proactive about doing the right things. It will take big visions, inspiration, energy, and guts to lead us successfully into this new world. It will take a new healthier system, creating a balanced culture, and developing higher conscious skills to lead us successfully into this new dawn of evolution.
We are replacing the "American Dream" that prioritizes work, money, and power with a new "Universal Dream" that fosters win-win relationships grounded in love plus money.
Good news! BALANCE has mapped a "Work Culture for the New World" Program to help you get there. It all starts with obtaining the knowledge, learning the skills required then using the tools - from there you'll run with it!
At this point, you don't want to sit blindly by and do nothing. It's time to start taking action and get committed to a whole new way of doing business and managing people.
We know change and uncertainty is scary, that's why joining with BALANCE makes sense for leaders to have a solid plan with everything they need to move forward confidently and successfully! Learning the new values is a great place to start.
BALANCE helps leaders craft a culture that honors our new world values and basic human rights bringing out everyone's unique contributions as a team to ensure success for all including our planet.
The greatest danger in times of turbulence is not the turbulence - it is to act with yesterday's logic.
